Rehydrate. The Secret to Surviving a Hangover.

Did you know that the reason for the terrible hangover headache is because your body lacks water? When people consume a huge amount of alcohol, the kidneys send the water directly to the body instead of distributing it all over the body. This is the reason why drunk people urinate more often than sober people. Because of the frequent urination, your body's water level begins to go low and your body's organs begin to steal water from the brain. When it does that, the brain's size shrinks. As it does that, the miscellaneous membranes that connect the brain to the skull gets pulled ---- resulting in what else, but that terrible headache. so to stop the pounding anvils, you need to soak you body again in water. You must rehydrate.

What is Stress?

what is stress

“Everyone knows what stress is, but nobody really knows.” --- take it from Hans Selye, the guy who coined the word stress.

Stress is hard to define because what is stressful for one person may be relaxing to another. Ever wonder why you can't understand why your mom freaks out when you chill and play hard rock music?

People (scientists, psychologists and the like) have tried to define stress and so far, this is what it is:  a reaction to objects or events that threaten or upset a person’s balance in some way.

Check out this article to know more about it.
